Update – 4th March

Take a look at the fun that was had by all who attended. This short video shows Stephen Yip (Founder of KIND www.kind.org.uk) commentating on the latter stages of the first race and the whole of the special ‘pigs go wild’ last race held.

 

All in all a great FUN night that raised funds of almost £1000 for KIND.

Fun Charity Night – Friday 2nd March 2012

Starting at 7:30pm – Fluffy Pig Racing (first race approximately 7:30)

4 or 5 races will be run at 15-20 minute intervals before the main attraction at approximately 9:00, the music of Tom Spence (www.tom-spence.com).

Tom will take a break while we eat supper and run another couple of Fluffy Pig races.

Tom will finish off the evening with a session of songs that you will want to get up and dance to.

We would appreciate sponsorship from local Businesses for each of the pig races. In return for your sponsorship your company name & logo and a small advert will be printed on the racecard.

We would also appreciate individuals to sponsor each of the pigs in each of the races. For just £10 you get to pick your pigs name for the race, have it printed on the racecard and set it up for racing, and should your pig win the race you will win a small prize.  Please contact Dave Slatter (details below) as he is organising the sponsorship details and the printing of the racecards.

Of course the best prize of all for the sponsors is the warm feeling that they will have for helping out a local charity that helps thousands of local underpriveleged children each year. Visit KIND’s website to see the good work that they have been doing (without government or council help) for the last 37 years. All profits from this event will go to KIND.
